Abstract Presenters’ Awards

  • The ACKOC decided to present the following awards to enhance the research capacity of the participants of the ACK 2016 and encourage them.

  • Young Investigators Award (YIA)

This award will be given to abstract presenters under age 39 who are the main authors of the abstracts and win the best score in the oral (3 people) and poster (3 people) presentation according to the evaluation of the judges.
Participants who want to receive the YIA should complete the registration within the period that the ACKOC announces.
The abstracts of the participant who completed the YIA registration will be evaluated first by the members of the Scientific Review Board. They will evaluate creativity, reasonability, logic, professionalism, and academic value of the abstracts. The participants decided as the laureates of the YIA should participate in the joint presentation hosted by the ACKOC in the ACK 2016 (official language: English). The oral presentation is 10 minutes and the poster presentation is 3 minutes (mini oral). The presenters should answer questions as well.
The evaluation of the joint presentation will be conducted by the chairperson and the members of the Scientific Review Board that the ACKOC assigns.
The prize for the YIA (USD) is given to three people in the oral presentation ($500, $300, $150) and to three people in the poster presentation ($300, $200, $100). The ACKOC is planning to increase the prize for the YIA every year. The registration period is 2016.8.3(Wed)-2016.8.31(Wed) and the entry fee will be covered by the registration fee for the ACK 2016.
